first tests

so we got krakatoa running for maya here! nice one

i have loaded in partitions and that worked great, i was not getting any volumetric shading until i used a spot light, the omni was not working (rendering particles not voxels)

also the scene i saved after opening at another computer did not load the particles for some reason, had to create a new prt loader and load them in again

definitely exciting to have krakatoa 4 maya, even though i still prefer it in max! :slight_smile:

this should open up lots of possibilities for new studios wanting to take part in the krakatoa journey

For the issue with the omni light:
Maya’s “Point” light appears to work for me. We support “Direct”, “Spot”, and “Point”. If you make a simple scene with a “PRT Volume” connected to a cube mesh, and a single point light… Does it anything show up in the RGB output?

For the prt loader issue:
Did the actual PRT Loader disappear, or did the particles just not display? This is a silly question, but I the .PRT file was accessible via the same path for both computers, right? Is there some steps you can show me to reproduce this one?
