An updated Frost v1.3.6.51279 build with support for Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 64 bit has been posted under the Beta sub-folder of the Frost Downloads page: thinkboxsoftware.com/frost-d … -releases/
If you have an existing 1.2 license, no new license will be required to use this version.
Yes, the only change is the Installer “knows” about 2014. You could use previous versions of Frost that support 2013 by setting the path to the 2013 plugin in the 2014 plugin.ini, but it requires some manual steps that this build avoids.
All 2013 plugins are supposed to run without changes in 2014, and in my experience they all do. It was the same with 2010/2011, that’s why there is not 2011 folder either.

We have not posted a news item yet because we wanted to have all products on one list, but Krakatoa MX took longer due to a missing Hair&Fur SDK for 2015. We received the SDK this morning, and as soon as we have the KMX build ready to go, we will announce on the Thinkblog that all our products are now Max 2015 compatible, including Frost 1.4.
FYI, there are no downloads listed for Frost at all and it’s not possible to download even an older version, I think this was different in the past? Is it mandatory now to e-mail sales in order to get a d/l link?
Yes. We have removed all download links for all products. It is now mandatory to go through Sales to get a download link.
Older versions will be accessible through the download link that you will receive if you are a current customer.
