It’s a CT scan of a chunk of broccoli. We cleaned up the CT a bit in Fusion, converted the voxels to particles, set LUT’s for the color and density channels, and rendered the results. The left side is the OpenGL render in Fusion and the right side is the Krakatoa render (after a gamma correction). What’s neat is how they line up so well. It’s a decent WYSIWYG setup for the LUT’s or the placement of the lighting.
So you get a DICOM scan in and a color-graded image out, which is the kind of complete pipeline we were looking for.
