GeoVolume Object/World

Any chance we could get a checkbox in GeoVolume to set the particle position to be an offset of the generating object’s TM? So that a PRT Loader could be aligned/parented to the generating object, and we would end up with correct alignment?

In other words, you want a checkbox to save the particles in object space without node transforms?

Yeah, in the object space of the base object. So that they can get the same object space or XYZ-UVW mapping that’s applied to the base object.

The problem is about using local xyz as a mapping type. I suppose if the local coords aren’t preserved by the time the shadecontext calls the material, there isn’t nothing you can do without additional channels. ( Ideally I’d like the magma flow to work on the geovolume particles too.)
