We were trying to render out some quicktimes of 4K renders but realized that none of the codecs support 4K. Upon doing some research I see that H.265 does support 4K. So will Deadline 8 have support for H.265? If not, are there any suggestions on how to render out a 4K mov? We’re currently using a modified version of the QuicktimeSubmission script.

Draft currently does not support H.265 (It has been added to the wishlist). Currently your best bet would be to use either FFmpeg or as using QuickTimesubmission as you are doing currently.
