Having trouble getting Mac to render with pc on redshift. Says can't load proxy file?

looking at the path error i missed in the first run:
U:/

You may neeed to use path mapping to change the u:/ to a path that is mounted on the mac.
Otherwise, you could use a unc path that is shared by both the windows and the mac.

You might have the path mapping around the wrong way.

You path mapping , needs to have your unix/osx path to the files set to the place you are mounting.
i suspect that you have a windows path j:/repository, in the location that a path starting with / should be.

Ok I mapped the J:\REPOSITORY to //tallen-pc/REPOSITORY and it looks like it’s pointing to the right file and folder, but it is still not loading the file.

if you open a osx, terminal… the commandline app.
once in this, can you type in:

ls -la //tallen-pc/REPOSITORY/deleteFoool/crawler.v03.0038_grid.0003.rs

If the file exists it should give you some information about the file.
I suspect it will not return anything.

using the ls command, find where in the path you have isnt correct, so try:

ls -la //tallen-pc/REPOSITORY/deleteFoool/

etc.
at some point youll find the part of the path that actually exists.
i suspect that the path doesnt map or exist on the mac machine,
