Hidden KCM nodes when collapsing

1.6.0.43612

When you rollup a KCM node that has inputs that have outputs to other nodes, the other nodes have their inputs hidden.

See attached… Oh poop. KMF not allowed.

If you double click on Add, it collapses just fine, but if you collapse Cross or Multiply, you’ll see the remaining node has it’s inputs hidden.

Minor thing, but thought I’d report it anyway.

Posting a screenshot would have been more helpful since I cannot download attachments from the forum from behind the firewall…

That archive appears to be corrupt Chad. Can you directly email it to me? darcy AT thinkboxsoftware DOT com

I am sorry, I am afraid I don’t understand what you expect
When I double-click the Multiply node, it collapses itself and hides the two Input nodes because they are connected to its sockets. The CrossProduct remains uncollapsed because it is not a child of Multiply, and its sockets remain visible and blue (because they are connected to the now hidden nodes), but there are no wires drawn because I don’t control the drawing of lines in Helium and cannot define connections to nodes that are not there. (If I was using my own graphics engine, I could have probably done something different, although I am not sure what). When you say “remaining node has it’s inputs hidden”, do you mean “wires” when you say “inputs”, because for me “inputs” mean “sockets” and I got confused…

Can you please post a mock-up image or something that shows what you expected to see?

Yes, the wires are hidden, so you can’t see what’s going on. If it’s a helium issue, don’t worry about it, I’ll just not collapse the nodes.
