Hello,
seems like when I render with deadline (latest version) in Houdini the time it takes for a single frame to render is def larger that how it would be if rendered in local (3x worst). As far as I know for how deadline works, everytime a machine render a frame it opens and close the houdini file causing this latency. Is there a way to overcome this? with blender I don’t have this issue.

You can render in batches, where all frames within a batch render within the same process. The parameter is called “Frames per task”.

Thank you, but seems I have an issue with frames per task. When a worker completes the task it restarts again. Do you know how to fix that?
