I have not found the exact info on this endeavour, hope someone can shed light on the subject.
I recently installed Octane Enterprise on my first Pc and an Octane Render Node on my second PC.
I wanted to be able to render with deadline on both PCs using octane but also have the veratility that deadline allows, to render on just one and keep working on the first.
I wrote Otoy and they said that the only option for this is to install 2 Enterprise licences, I cannot affor this as a freelancer. I had the idea of installing two separate studio licences on each PC and that deadline should be able to open Houdini and render on the second PC as I assume it also does with redshift. Again Otoy said that even with deadline I could not do this.
So my question is, has anyone setup deadline with 2 studio licenses and or with one enterprise plus a render node? I need to know what my options are here, thx.
