Subject: Request to Address Houdini License Issue and Version Unification
Dear Pod-Tech Team,
I hope this message finds you well. We are currently facing a critical issue with Houdini licenses, particularly during our project deadlines. The main problem is that we are using three different versions of Houdini across our projects—19.5, 20.0, and 20.5. Although we have a total of 9 licenses, we frequently encounter a situation where 3 licenses fail automatically. After the IT team restarts the Houdini service, the licenses become available again, but this process causes delays.
Can u pls look into it and provide some solution also we have attached the Houdini failed logs
Instead of screenshots of the logs, could you upload the logs themselves as zipped text files? There’s gaps in these screenshots that might have important information.
In the meantime, use the steps in this post to make sure you’re able to check out Houdini licenses on the computer in question.

no one’s going to read jpeg’s of logs, copy and paste the text into a txt file.
It looks like you have loads of custom stuff going on, is this done by the POD-TECH team? are they monitoring this?
Is the license issue with HoudiniEngine or Arnold? Are you able to monitor the license systems for both and see if there are indeed refused checkouts? Are you using ‘limit’ groups for the licenses and are these enforced?
