Good I am trying to install DeadlineClient-10.2.0.10 on windows server 2022 in a new installation, I have already had for 9 months other versions, but this last one in the repository installation does not allow to install MongoDB.
If I install version 10.1.23.6, mongodb installs correctly.
Looking at the screenshot, it seems like installer was trying to get the version of the mongodb binaries. Are you specifying MongoDB binaries or installer is downloading them?
As I have tested locally with 10.2.0.10 installers, it was able to download and install the Repository/DB successfully. I would check the installer logs on the machine and see if the screenshot error is misleading. You can get the installer logs under %TEMP% directory. Logs — Deadline 10.2.0.10 documentation
Figures, the day I need to redo my server I am having the same issue. Windows 11.
I dropped down to 10.1.21.4 to get it to actually install and then upgraded. Something weird is going on.
I have been able to test remotely and I have been able to solve it for now, but I have other problems.
Step 1 install 10.1.23.6 download and generate the database and configure the whole installer.
Step 2 uninstall deadline repository.
Step 3 Install the new version of deadline 10.2.0.10 has let me install it without secrets management.
Finally it worked for me to install the repository without secrets with RCS but when installing the client now I have more installation problems than I had before either.
After about 8 reinstallations, I have been able to install it correctly, but without touching anything by simply installing it 1 and again doing the normal steps.
