We are trying to set up a cronjob at my workplace so it will run every 15 minutes and check the status of the slave. if it is idle then the slave will have to start only if it’s cpu and memmory are below 30%. if an artist comes back etc then the slave then the slave will stop and return control to the artist.
A couple of things.

our launcher runs on the background on each workstation. So far I haven’t found a way to make Idle detection work. I thought it works in Linux even as a service but everytime I enable it from the repo settingd it does not work still.

will idle detection work if I run it as a command in each separate slave machine ? Or is there something else I can do to make Idle detection work?
