idle shutdown reboots machines

I am running deadline 2.6 and I have a problem

with the idle shutdown



It reboots my machines if it finds that the machine is idle but it will not shutdown.



In the slave I get a message that says



scheduler thread - current task complete, restarting machine…

Slave.onclosing

InfoThread - requesting slave info thread quit.



I can start or shutdown the machines from deadline monitor with no problem.



But it always restarts using the idle shutdown



ideas ???

Hi Stijn,



We’ve confirmed that this is a bug - the wrong command is simply being

sent to the slave. We will get this fixed in time for the next Deadline

release, which should be very soon.
