I have never used Krakatoa before, and I’m curious about the installation of it for Cinema.
First of all, am I going to need to purchase any sort of license to make the Krakatoa plug in work? Will this be like most plug ins for Cinema, where you copy the plug in into the plug in folder?

We provide you an installer program. All you have to do is run it, and it will do all the work. Internally, it will copy files into C4D’s plugin directory.
As for pricing, it is currently in beta, so we are not selling it yet. However, when it the beta is complete, we will be selling licenses. Chris discusses more about that here: viewtopic.php?f=197&t=10982
I know Krakatoa is quite expensive for 3ds max and Maya - I can only hope for C4D users, who may tend to be not working professionally, you can cut us a nice ‘early adopter’ deal!
Please provide an easy to understand guide for Mac OS X users
to connect to the license server. Right now this is seems
to be nearly impossible for a standard computer user.
I’d vote for a simpler system altogether!
I definitely agree on that Weezer as the licence Manage is absolutely not user friendly and I’m steel struggling to get it running.
Not sure if have issue with the port or something else…
i do not understand the whole license installation thing. i will have to wait for a walkthrough.
