Interruptible jobs can... interrupt each other??

I have two interruptible jobs at 900 priority. They keep interrupting each other.

One of them also keeps getting interrupted by a job at 550 priority.

Thoughts?

Which scheduling algorithm are you using? Is it FIFO, or is it balanced/weighted? If it’s the latter two, that could explain this behavior, and the task buffer option we’ve added to Deadline 7 should help address this problem.

The default (Pool, Priority, FIFO).

Do you still have the offending jobs? Could you archive them and post them so we can try to reproduce this behaviour?

No, unfortunately they were cleaned up by an autoWrangler cron last night, and have now been purged. If need be, I can try creating some more to reproduce the same behavior.

If you happen to come across the problem again, then yeah, it would be great if you could archive them and send them to us. We tried reproducing this behavior here for a few hours yesterday with no luck. Maybe it’s a combination of specific job settings that cause it.
