Is UBL licensing version dependant for Cinema 4D?

Hi I have set up my render nodes to use UBL for Cinema 4D. All is working fine for s24 but I have a modified repository and submission script for S26, but I can’t seem to get the commandline licenses to work for S26. I am wondering if UBL only works for versions of the app specifically supported by Deadline or am I experiencing some other issue?

I’m sorry I don’t have a good answer for this, but could I ask you something Noah? We’re new to C4D UBL. We’re trying to use it on our local farm. I see this in our worker’s log when attempting to render (the task never finishes):

2022-06-01 17:23:07: Port Forwarder (cinema4d:5057): Client connected to port forwarder.
2022-06-01 17:23:07: Worker - Confirmed Credit Usage for “cinema4d”.

2022-06-01 17:23:07: 0: STDOUT: 2) Offline
2022-06-01 17:23:07: 0: STDOUT: Q) Quit

I believe this has something to do with editing the config.txt file in the C4D resource folder on the worker to add the g_licenseServerUrl=“http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxx” line. Am I right? If so, what URL / port should I actually use to point to my UBL license forwarder? I tried ports 443, 5057, 5264 and nothing at all (80) to no avail.

Following up on this in case someone else stumbles across it:

The above warning “No available licenses to choose.” was because we were using UBL for C4D, but we were using version R26, which apparently is not supported on UBL at this time.

When we tried with R21 and R25 using UBL, then renders went through successfully. (For some reason, for us R24 wasn’t working with UBL which made it more confusing to troubleshoot).
