Hi !

I have an issue whith Zdefocus on nuke, both on nuke 10.5v2 and 11.1v2, but when i lunch jobs Manualy in commande line on machine it’s work fine, but when i lunch whith deadline i have error :

At least it seems this might be a known problem, though “GPU settings and having low disk space for cache” wouldn’t have been my guess… Especially if it’s working outside of Deadline.

Best guess is that a library for ZDefocus isn’t loading correctly as usually “cannot find function” is said when trying to use a function from a shared library where either the library didn’t load or the function is missing. On Windows that’s a pretty rare occurrence as libraries are registered and held in the Registry instead of environment variables.

Mmm… Can you try the cache route first, then check the environment Nuke ran in? I’d also try running it not as a service in case something in that library is trying to access the GPU and is failing somehow.

I already tried, the Cache path is good i try to reinstall Nuke from scratch and before i did not this issue with RoyalRender
I have this issue whith Zdefocus node and denoise node, but it’s work on 3 machines on my farme or all machine was build similar

I found ! this is because Deadline run as service…

Do you have a solution ? Or do not I have to run dealine as a service? By what I tell you that it does not help me at all

What exact graphics card are you using? If the machines have dedicated Nvidia GPU cards, make sure you update to the latest Nvidia graphic driver. If these troublesome machines have no dedicated graphics card (onboard graphics), then either run Deadline Slave NOT as a service on those specific machines, or on ALL your machines for simplicity sake of administration. Alternatively, can you just use a Deadline “limit” to ensure these particular type of Nuke jobs ONLY run on machines not running as a service with a dedicated graphics card installed in them?

Thanks for your reply, but i need all farm for heavy Nuke Render , but i have passed all machine on my farm on no service deadline, it’s not optimized but i have no choice
