job dependency view - per task update

It would be nice if the job dependency view would show me the state of dependencies for the currently selected task.

Say we have 3 scripted dependencies hooked into a job, the only way we can currently tell which one is still missing is by manually checking the output folder for each. Would be nice, if i could click on the task im trying to troubleshoot, and the dependency view would update, coloring the dependencies green that evaluate ‘OK’ and red that evaluate to ‘missing’

We’ll add this to the wishlist, as it would be nice to get a better overview of how the dependencies are hooked up. At the very least, it would be nice to have a button in the job dependency view to test the asset and script dependency nodes to see if they pass or not.

Hooking them up to support task based dependencies as well will require more work, but should be doable.

I think both will have to wait for a future release though.

Cheers,
