Job Transert

Hi there !
I’m with deadline 5.
I can’t transfert jobs like it is supposed to do, to another repository.

I’ve got my main repository on \wr2repo\Deadline and my second repository on \SERVEUR2\RepoArchive
I’d like to transfert jobs to a repository acting like a bakcup for my jobs to maintain my production repo with low number of jobs (<10k max jobs)

But when i fill up target repository, it is send to my source one… and sucess task

Any idea ?

EDIT : moreover, my transfered job, witch is on the same repo, doesn’t get the good frame list. It’s only frame 0…

My baaaad !

In fact, and it’s not in the doc, deadline create a job to make the transfer.

BUT (like always) it return an error like can’t transfer finished job :
Exception during render: An error occurred in RenderTasks(): Cannot transfer this job because it is Completed. Only suspended jobs may be transferred

Why ?

No idea why i can’t transfert completed jobs ?

Hello,

The reason that you get that error, is that transferring a job means resubmitting it for rendering on the new farm, which if it is completed, would be a waste of resources. I hope that answers your questions.
