So I’m animating some KCM’s, using exposed tracks. Everything is great until I go to use the track view…
I think I’m supposed to be editing “KrakatoaChannelEditor \ KCE_9250978_2201970 \ Input_252014_159841 \ Float” which seems to correlate with “ExplosionBlend”. Any chance we could get the track names to be closer to the names we show in the Exposed Parameters?
I see the instanced parameter of “PRT Loader01 \ KCM_Position \ KCM_CA \ float_2”, and while that’s better, float_2 still doesn’t help me match it up to “ExplosionBlend”.
I could look into adding the current name of the Input node to the track name of the KCM_CA. So it would look something like “float_2_ExplosionBlend”.
I don’t think messing with the original tracks created by the node (the ones with the random IDs) would be a good idea, since people could give nodes duplicate names or rename the nodes later (and I don’t think renaming a track in TrackView is straight-forward, it might require deleting and recreating it, while keeping the animation data).
Yeah, if the KCM_CA was renamed, that would be enough, really. I CAN find the parameter from the modifier panel by doing the Show in Track View, but once IN track view, seeing them as just “float_N” is confusing.
