i can get 2 kinects to work on my machine, but not 3. the third doesnt show up in fathom. is this a hard limit in the software? i ask because the 3 show up properly in control panel, no errors, exclamations etc.
if i unplug one, and keep any of the other two plugged in and restart max, they work…so it’s finding 2 of the 3, but the third never shows up.

No, I don’t believe there is a hard limit of two. I didn’t put any hard limit on the Fathom side of things. I’ll look into this.
i got 3 to work, just for the record.
turned otu the driver on the 3rd port was unstable [usb3.0]
it’s clear you need seprate usb ports. you cannot have more than one camera on a single usb2.0 as far as i can see. at least not on any of 3 devices i have personally used!
a pci card with usb might work though. otoh, you have to have a good machine to handle 3+ streams anyway.
