Please download Krakatoa v.1.1.2.32992 Release Candidate with Deadline 3.0 Support.
It will use the same license as v.1.1.1 so no changes are required.
NEW FEATURES
RENDERING
* Added support for V-Ray Physical camera incl. matching its image distortion.
PARTITIONING
* Added the ability to save particles locally and MOVE or COPY the files to a network Backup directory when Partitioning on Deadline. Previously, this was available only when partitioning on the local workstation.
* Added support for Seed changing in Modifiers applied to Geometry and PRT Loaders. Using high-frequency Noise modifier with randomized seeds, it is now possible to Partition both PRT Sequences and Geometry Vertices directly.
* Added support for Deadline 3.x in addition to Deadline 2.7. A drop-down list in the Preferences rollout controls which one should be used if both are installed, giving also the option to disable Deadline detection if desired.
* If the current viewport is a Camera with MultiPass Effect assigned, the effect will be temporarily disabled before Local or Deadline Partitioning. Otherwise, the renderer assumes it has to save each particle file as many times as the number of passes.
KRAKATOA GUI
* Enhanced the [H] button in the Save Particles rollout to
o Use a cache for faster opening of the History dialog
o Allow for sorting with last record on top and oldest record on top
o Display or hide the full save path
o Filter by value and/or full save path
* When creating a PRT Loader via the SHIFT+MacroScript icon on the toolbar, the default path will be opened automatically if requested in Preferences.
PARTICLE FLOW
* A new Krakatoa Geometry Lookup operator provides means to copy surface data (Closest Point on Surface, its Barycentric Coordinates and Face Index, Smooth Normal and UVW Coordinates) into various Particle Flow Channels. This operator is at least twice as fast as comparable PFlow Tools Box #1 and Box #3 operators and respects smoothing groups which none of the existing operators does.
BUG FIXES
* Fixed a bug when navigating to a rollout from the Max 2009 VFB with the Krakatoa GUI closed and uninitialized.
* Fixed a bug in the Preferences rollout where the H button was using incorrect code and would crash when specifying a Default Path from History.
