Please download and test v1.5.1.37938 - it is considered Release Candidate 1. If you don’t find any problems with it, we would post it for public download in a few days.
This build contains some bug fixes and last minute features:
BUG FIXES:
*Particle Flow would not render/save under most conditions due to a bug fix for another PFlow related problem. This has been corrected.
*Save History was not sticky when changed from the VFB Extensions in 2009 and 2010.
*Error reporting in MagmaFlow was not clearing previous errors, resulting in already fixed problems being displayed as errors. Fixed.
*Rendering with some rollouts hidden caused a flashing of the VFB at the end of each render. This has been fixed.
*Schematic Flow was not updating the Channels list when toggling features like Motion Blur etc.
*Lots of small tweaks in the UI.
NEW FEATURES:
*New Krakatoa Delete Modifier allows the culling of particles based on their Selection channel. It provides two modes - deleting all particles with selection higher then zero, and deleting using Soft-Selection and ID (or Index channel if no ID channel exists) producing gradual particle removal according to the selection value in the range from 0 to 1. See software.primefocusworld.com/sof … hannel.php for examples.
ENHANCEMENTS:
*MagmaFlow Input and Output Channel lists now provide several sorting options including alphabetical, by type and even by usage frequency (channels used more often will move to the top of the list).
*Schematic Flow now provides options for creating a Camera from the current view, a default Spotlight (useful when no lights in the scene) and adds display of the Shading (Phase) functions and corresponding channels.
*The RENDER node in the Schematic View also has a RENDER FRAME NOW! menu item which performs Iterative rendering of the current frame without saving to disk and respects the output scaling settings.
