Krakatoa Cheese 0.9.13

The following image was created using the new Particle Culling option in the PRT Loader.


  1. Created a PFlow with Box Emitter shape.
  2. Emitted 1 million particles
  3. Created 50 partitions
  4. Loaded in PRT Loader.
  5. Created a geosphere, collapsed to emesh, cloned the element multiple times within the mesh.
  6. Selected as Culling Node, Inverse mode (remove particles inside)
  7. Rendered 10 million particles illuminated by 3 lights.



    The result is much different from using the same spheres as matte objects - the Culling option can be used to actually carve from existing particles, or define which particles to remain…

Veeery cool! This could open quite a lot of possibilities!
