I’ve simulated in real flow (bin files), loaded in 3dsmax via krakprtloader, stoke using 10 partitions (i’ve already tried with color channel on and off), converted to prt loader, but when i render them in krak they become black. Even if I override color to white, they appear black. Alpha channel is correct and even weirder is if I change to additive mode, they appear white.
By the way, the original prt loader appears white, so i assume is really something related to stoke. Any thoughts? I’ll try to save density channel meanwhile…
1 - I have an infinite box around the generated krakatoa prt loader and that’s giving me the following errors (see attached)
2 - Only two partitions have this problem (from 10)
3 -Even saving density, i keep having black particles with correct alpha
I’ve installed stoke 1.0.1.51406 and it’s working… since i’m with tight deadlines I think i’ll stick to this for now… meanwhile, Bobo, if you need more details, files, etc just say the word.
We were still having problems related to scale and after changing system unit setup from meters to inches, we have no more (stoke 1.0.1.51406). When we have some time, we’ll install stoke 2 again to see if all the errors mentioned before are supressed (scale, color and shadows).
So, after many tests, we found out that zlib error (thanks to your tip by e-mail) was beeing created because of a raid setup problem (damn mother board controllers!). This can be useful to other users, since it’s related to file corruption in the zip stream while saving particles to the disk.
