Launch slave lag

Hello.
i have a simple problem.
when i launch a slave from render farm machine
it show connecting to repository for a long time about 1-2 minutes then the slave started. i never had this problem before.

The render farm machine system is windows server 2003 and the repository is installed in one of them. my operate machine system is windows 7.
it is very wired. anybody could give some help?

Hello,

Slaves being a bit slow to load up can be any number of issues, such as network slowdown, issues with the system being up to long, or just an issue with the server being bogged down with requests. Can you give us a bit of info about your setup?
