edit: -------------- Seems like this slave was still on an old build, before the connection pooling was enabled in the driver. Once updated to the latest, it doesnt do this any longer!

While trying to troubleshoot our terrible mongo db performance, i noticed that the deadline launcher keeps making new connections to the db, about every 10 seconds.
Here is one sequence. No other process running, only the launcher:
First, you see one connection being accepted, which is the launcher’s own, main connection:
