Libpython problem with draft render

Hello,
i always get a python error when trying rendering a draft (quick draft):

STDOUT: ImportError: libpython3.10.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

i know that deadline comes with libpython3.7 right? but how can i say to use this version? and where is coming that libpython3.10 information from?

cheers,
alex

Hello

Deadline’s latest version uses libpython3.10. Are you using the same aversion of Client and Repo? This could be related to the machine’s Python environment is being used. Can you check what is the value of PYTHONPATH environment on this machine question. Also check PATH environment if you have systems Python above the Deadline’s python.

Thank you, just clean installed Client and Repo, and now its working.

Dont know if you can help me with my next problem. When i do ‘Scripts’ → ‘Integration’ → ‘Create NIM Render’. Deadline Monitor crashes (closes instantly) with a non specific core dumped error. Cant really find (journalctl or deadlinemonitor log doesnt give me a hint) the problem. Tested this on Centos 8 and Windows 10, it does crash both. The connection to NIM seems working find (can connect to project, shot and such).

Dont know if this is a deadline or a nim problem to be honest. But maybe you heard about such an issue.

Cheers,
Alex

@zainali
can you also help me with this issue? (post above)

the only feedback i am getting from my logs and terminal is:

Unhandled Python exception
Aborted (core dumped)

Check out NIM Pipeline tool UI Issue fixed - by the sound of it this may fix the issue for you.

Let us know if that’s not the case!
