Do I need an updated license?
Sorry for the confusion. I re-read this and I made it sound like everyone needs a new license to run RC4. That’s NOT the case, as RC4 still uses the same license as previous releases. I’m guessing in this case that maybe the current v6 license expired or something. The sales team should be emailing you a new license shortly.
So just to reiterate, as long as your v6 license hasn’t expired, it should work fine with RC4.

Yes, we requested a new one after I read your post - wasn’t going to risk installing RC4 and having the farm break. It arrived very quickly anyway
