is it possible to use the beta builds of krakatoa with an older license? or is that something that I would
have to upgrade first? (sorry if this is the wrong place to ask)
Usually when we start a Beta round, we issue new temporary licenses until the expected end of the Beta.
So a 1.6.x license will most probably not work with a 2.0 Beta build (once we start posting those).
But anyone with a current license is entitled to participate in the Beta program, so it shouldn’t be an issue.
The Beta license will be added to the license file with the previous version licenses, so you could run both as needed.
If a Beta tester does not have a current Krakatoa license, he would get a license just for the duration of the Beta.
