license server not found?

we have this problem on occasion on multiple machines at a time.

Our license server is up and happy, but a chunk of the slaves seem to have trouble getting to it:

The numbers fluctuate, after a while they connect, then different ones cant find it. Its a bit weird.

Have you checked the connection limit on your license server (ulimit stuff)? I wouldn’t have thought Flex would keep its connection open long enough for this to be a problem, but the behaviour you’re describing would seem to match running out of handles, or something similar…
