If you are using an existing mongo installation / database server, the linux installer does not create the deadline7 dbs.
The windows installer works
Which OS are you running the linux installer on? These are the supported versions of Linux for the Repository Installer:
Ubuntu 12.04 and later
Debian 7 and later
Fedora 16 and later
CentOS 6 and later
RHEL 6 and later
If you were running anything older, that would explain the problem, although we should detect that an older system is being used and warn the user (or simply not allow them to continue).

The installer runs and finishes successfully, but the dbs are not listed in mongo. I ran the repo installer with the same settings from windows, and the dbs showed up
