In Beta 5, (and in Beta 4), the Monitor in linux does not show jobs by other users.
All my job filters are off (user, pool, status, etc) and I am still unable to see other jobs.

I can’t reproduce this problem.
Do you guys run Pulse? If so, is it also upgraded to beta 5? Does shutting down Pulse fix the problem?
Cheers,
We do run Pulse (also upgraded to beta 5). Shutting it down did not fix the problem. This only has occured on the Linux boxes. Mac and windows work fine.
Cheers!

Weird. Which Linux OS do you use again?
Fedora 13 64bit
Right, thanks. We’ll see if we can reproduce on that specific OS.
Can’t reproduce it in Fedora 13 either.
Here’s something to try.
This will start the Monitor with its default settings. If you still can only see the current user’s job, then we’ll have to think of something else to check.
Cheers,
That worked! Not sure what was setting that caused that. I’m attaching my old monitorOptions.xml file; maybe it’ll shed some light on what was up.
Cheers!

monitorOptions.xml.bak.gz (2.82 KB)
Sweet! Glad that worked.
I scanned your xml file, and nothing looked out of the ordinary. So I copied it over my xml file in Fedora and booted up the Monitor, and I could still see every user. Quite strange, but at least we know a workaround if it comes up again.
Cheers,
