I’m using Krakatoa on CentOS 5, Maya 2012. The translator supplied with the exporter is only compiled for Windows (PRTTranslator.mll), any way you could provide a compile for each version of Linux you guys build against?
Thanks,
AG

Yes of course, I have attached the PRTTranslator build on CentOS to the forum post located here:

The CentOS PRTTranslator will work with our “Maya to Krakatoa” Exporter script located on that same forum post.
The exporter says it’s “for Windows” at the moment, but it will work in Maya Linux (it just will not automatically launch a render after export). I am working on a version that will be fully featured in both Windows and Linux. Hopefully I will have it completed today, but you can get started with this for now.
I have now also built a PRTTranslator plugin for Maya 2012 64 bit on CentOS. It can be downloaded here: viewtopic.php?f=116&t=6378&p=25657
