Tried it on 3 different machines: after installation of v.1.6.80.45677 the listener give no more output. Nothing. all 7x64, 32GB
You mean the MacroRecorder?
We know that. We don’t know why it happens.
In Krakatoa 1.5.x, enabling the VFB Extensions caused the MacroRecorder to stop working.
In Krakatoa 1.6.x, installing Krakatoa broke the MacroRecorder regardless of the settings.
I was unable to figure out what is causing this, but it is something that goes wrong on Autodesk’s side, possibly related to the undo system.
Of course, I believe the MacroRecorder is broken even when it is working (it never did anything for me and if you are using its output, you will never learn MAXScript propertly), so it might be a good thing
It is on my ToDo list to fix it, but right now, you have to decide between having Krakatoa OR the MacroRecorder.
Ok. Sometimes it was helpfull… anyway.
Another thing wich I noted was during the deinstallations: The menü stays. But thats just cosmetics for a later build I think.
That is just in case you decide to install again.
If the new installation has the same or older version of the Menu, your Menu (which might have been customized by you) will be preserved.
If the new installation has a newer version of the Krakatoa menu definition, it will be upgraded.
The same applies to toolbars - the icons become disabled, but are not removed. We don’t really expect anyone to ever uninstall Krakatoa - it is too useful even in Evaluation mode. MacroRecorder or not
okok, I see. I seems to be that I become Mr. MR…
Mr. (Mental Ray) ?
Don’t do it!
Krakatoa <3 (heart) finalRender, Vray, Brazil, Scanline
Don’t fall prey to the dark side of MR
OR maybe you are talking about Bobo’s Magic Ray
