Little mistake on Deadline 10.0.24.1

Hi ! i found a little error on new update 24.1 on line 9354 in SubmitMayaToDeadline , CheckSlashes maybe not work.

When i use UNC Path on windows to set repository like \myserver\core\deadline , if i try to lunch deadline submiter on maya i have no found module beacause path is like this //myserver/core/deadline/submission/Integration/Main and of course windows dont understand this path

it’s not dramatical , but i prefair use UNC path in my pipeline

Anyway , many thanks for this update Renderman 22 work fine and i can reuse Tiled Rendering and all features of deadline.

Thanks for reporting this. It looks like you’ve found one of the workarounds yourself and I posted this in a similar thread, but I’ll post here as well for any lost souls.

We’ve got a fix for this on the way. Commenting it out should be fine for a workaround unless you need to use Renderman22. Other workarounds include:

  • Change UNC paths to Mapped Drives, or
  • Turn on the “Keep Local Repository Cache” option.
