live output of stdout

A bit of a n00b question here but i want to be able to monitor stdout from the nodes. How do I do this?
Right now I have a job that’s hanging and I can’t seem to find stdout (live) so I can’t debug what’s happening.

Hey Rob,

This is something we’re adding to Deadline 6. Currently, you have to remote into the rendering machine and view the Slave UI (or the terminal if you’re running the slave in headless mode).

When starting the slave as a service there is no GUI.
Is 6 in a position to be tested?

You could view the slave log then, which can be found locally on the machine at “%programdata%\Thinkbox\Deadline\logs”. The slave streams to this log as it’s rendering.

Deadline 6 should be entering beta this month, but it won’t be production-ready at that point.
