Is this working for anyone else? I can’t seem to Load a saved preset in 1.0.5.44250
Presets will not load and Set Default… doesn’t seem to be respected. Creating a new Frost still creates the ‘default’ default object.
Yes my windows UAC is off
What I did:
Create Frost
Change Meshing to Metaballs
Save Preset “Default - Metaballs”
Deselect Frost
Select Frost
Click on Preset
Result = nothing
Create a new Frost
Click on Preset
Result = nothing
The .ini’s are written and contain the correct data. I tested the parameters I changed they work fine ($frost_001.meshingMethod=3)
I assume this used to work for you? Maybe it will work for different preset names, for example “Frost Preset” (with the capital letters, but without the quotes)?
In general, newly created presets appear to be working, except for several options like Change Scale with Age checkbox, Relative/Absolute Res. radio button, Absolute Spacing Render and Viewport values which are simply not saved to the INI file. Some don’t even appear on the list in the dialog (Velocity To Map Channel checkbox and channel #).
When I changed my settings to Metaballs and saved a preset, I could make it default and new Frost objects would start as Metaballs too.
