logged user in monitor

Hi there

Would it be possible to put the logged in username somewhere prominent in the deadline monitor window? Say, a font 24 size “John Doe” with some pretty font on the button toolbar?

Also, some red warning in the job right click menu saying “Not Your JOB Mr. John Doe!” would be great.

We find it a lot of times that users are logged in with a default user (first in the deadline user list), and thus cant modify their own jobs. But they don’t know that there is a separate “deadline” login they still need to do.

Hey Laszlo,

We’ve logged a feature request to try and figure out the best way to resolve this issue. I’m not sure if we want to have the current user name in more than one place (it’s already in the status bar at the bottom of the Monitor), but having a way to visualize which jobs are yours would definitely be helpful.
