There is a password for the Super User mode of the Monitor, but not for the general access to the Monitor.
However, you can place users in a User Group with severely limited access to Monitor features, for example you can disable the ability to see other users’ jobs, change any settings of any jobs on the queue, and limit access to menu items, job properties, scripts, and Monitor features…
In fact, you could modify the default (Everyone) Group’s permissions so all users don’t have access to most features of the Monitor unless they enter the Super User password (since the Super User mode ignores all User Group limitations).
To add to Bobo’s answer, if you’re concerned about users signing into the Monitor as other users you could enable ‘Use the System User for the Deadline User’ in the Monitor under Tools->Configure Repository:
Thank you, Bobo and Justin.
This options I know, I’m looked for something like “create a user name and generate password in monitor for user” or “using Active Directory user verification for login to deadline monitor”.
Thank you.
