Mac render farm crashes once a day.

I work in a studio with macs and PCs running separate render farms. Recently we upgraded to deadline 5 on all our machines and since then the macs seem to hang about once a day. The error I get is at the bottom. The slaves immediately pick up and start working again if i quit the slave client and then re launch it. I was hoping someone has seen this before or found a workaround or a setting that’s causing it. It is almost like a cache is getting full or something.

Thanks,
Cameron

Hi Cameron,

This has become a known issue in Deadline 5.0, and likely existed before that. We have targeted this issue for 5.1, and we believe we have addressed it in the beta 2 release. This is from the beta 2 release notes:

We consider beta 2 to be stable for production, so if possible, we would recommend upgrading to the 5.1 beta. Instructions for applying for the beta can be found here:

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Cheers,
