Machines won't auto start workers as service

I have 3 machines which won’t autostart workers after updating to 10.1

No matter what I even ran the installer again. No change. If I launch as desktop launcher no problems. stop and launch service… no worker.

Deadline.ini (which still says slaves) doesn’t work. Not sure what the issue is.

I tried deleting deadline.ini and it doesn’t let me set a repository. It errors out and the slave launches as “Smiles”. It should fail.

Uninstalled, deleted everything. Reinstalled. Now seems to work.
