Magma flow

Hi all,

I’m now knee deep in Krakatoa and loving it. Ive had experience with Krakatoa in Max and I’m curious, are there any plans to port Magma flow to c4d?

Is there a workflow in the current build to control the color through the various sets of particle data?

You can either work with the Channel copy tags or use the Display Gradient Color for Rendering currently.

For instance try to Copy Normal to Color to render the normals mapped to the particles. ( thanks Bobo!;))

It took us a while (about 9 months) to add Magma to Krakatoa MY. We developed our own node display control and had to reimplement the UI (which ended up somewhat better than in KMX IMHO).
It was clear from the beginning that KC4D won’t have Magma in its first release (esp. given the lower price point), but it does not mean that there won’t be Magma at some point in the future. Especially if KC4D sells as well as the initial interest suggests… :wink:
