Possible crash collision issue. If a user runs a maintenance job, which installs/executes something which relies on certain 2D/3D software from not running, then what happens if there is a 2nd or more, multiple slaves still running and processing jobs on this physical machine?
Yes, the maintenance job script being executed could forcibly kill certain processes to ensure the code runs for example, but this doesn’t feel right. 
This feels like something which is going to crop up sooner rather than later and will hinder the success of the maintenance job type.
Maybe I’m missing something as I haven’t given it a full spin just yet…

I think that’s really the only solution. This also covers the case where that 2d/3d application might already be running outside of Deadline’s control (ie: on a workstation).
