I’m looking at a possible job and the only way I can see it being rendered, I know this is crazy, will be 11,000 renders, sent as 11,000 jobs! (thankfully all automatic via script). Hopefully the render times won’t be too long so I can set the on job completion for the job to be deleted.
What’s the most jobs anyone has had in their Deadline monitor before it’s all gone too slow to refresh? We had 900jobs in ours before and it was starting to slow…
If you’re running Pulse, you should be able to get to at least 50,000 jobs without much issue. Of course, disk space on your server can be a factor as well.

yeah, we regularly had 25-30k jobs during specific shows at once. i wouldnt say it was blazing fast, but certainly useable in production. of course we will be improving this in the future 
this was on a dual ssd machine [raid 0] with 2*1 gig and in at least one location a 10gig connected to a robust network. SSD’s have better random access which is good for deadline 5.x and previous versions. pulse was running on a slave as well, connected via single 1 gig.
