I dont have any problame in maya 2009 and vue 8.1 but ina maya 2009 and vue 8.5 or vue 9
maya file that has a simple vue file does not render

That dialog doesn’t directly belong to Deadline, so it mist be Vue’s. My guess is that this Vue xStream thing has a user interface that needs to be visible but Deadline hides it during rendering.

Try running it from the command line to see what pops up. Just run the following (note that you need to change the path to the project file):

“C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2009\bin\Render.exe” -r mr -v 5 -art -aml -s 1 -e 1 -b 1 -rd “D:/New_Project/images” -proj “D:/New_Project” “C:\Path\to\your\Test.mb”

Hopefully that sheds some light on the problem. It’s a bit of a mystery to me I’m afraid.
