I installed XMesh for Maya 2013 extension but I don’t see a shelf or anything to run XMesh. Where is Xmesh in Maya?
XMesh is supposed to be accessible through a shelf.
What operating system are you using?
Does XMesh appear in the Plugin Manager dialog (which can be opened using the Windows -> Settings/Preferences -> Plug-in Manager menu item)? If so, please enable “Loaded” and “Auto load” for XMesh. After doing this, an “XMesh” shelf should appear.
Could it be related to this error I now notice when I try to check the loaded plugin:
// Error: line 1: Unable to dynamically load : C:/Program Files/Thinkbox/XMesh MY/Maya2013_x64/plug-ins/XMesh.mll
The specified procedure could not be found.

The file appears to exist. Is it not compatible with 2013 Ext?
Unfortunately, the internal changes required for the Maya 2013 Extension release made that compatibility impossible to maintain. This means, Maya C++ plug-in developers will need to recompile their plug-ins to work in Maya 2013 Extension release using the new devkit from the Extension release.
Thank you! We will look into adding support for Maya 2013 Extension.
