Maya 2014 Deadline 7.1 Negative Frames "vanishing"

Hi,

We’ve just noticed that Maya 2014 submissions under Deadline 7.1 have been behaving oddly. If the scene has negative frame numbers, e.g. -50 to 116, upon submitting to Deadline, the job shows up in Monitor with the first number becoming positive (-50 becomes 50). If you load the scene that was saved by the submission script to the Repository, the frame range is correct.

Has anyone else seen this behavior, and what could be done about this (other than going through every scene and dragging all the animation keyframes into positive territory)?

Hey Ron,

I am able to reproduce this locally. For now a work around is to change the frame range after submission (not ideal) or else have everything in the positives. I will look into fixing it right away and if it is a quick fix I will get it to you soon.

Hey Ron,

Here is an updated Maya submitter that should fix the issue with the negative frames, all that needs to be done is to extract the zip to \submission\maya\main. We were stripping the negative signs from the values.

Hi Grant,

Thanks for the fix! Will apply and let’s see how this goes.
