maya batch render issues

Hello,

I have been sending maya jobs to deadline with a task group size of 2. Instead of doing two frames per machine they seem to be rendering the whole sequence per machine resulting in crazy rendertimes to complete a job and tons of frames overwriting each other.

has anyone else come across this problem before?

Can you post a render log from the job?

Also, can you try submitting the same job with the “Use MayaBatch” option disabled, and if the same thing happens, can you send us that log too?

We’ll take a look at the logs and see if we can figure out what’s going on.
