Can anybody shed light on how I could fix this?
Thanks in advance

Hi Semir,
Do you have Renderman for Maya installed on that other machine? I find
that if you tell Maya to render with a renderer it doesn’t recognize, it
complains that it can’t find the renderer description file -
“rmanRenderer.xml” in this case. For example, if you try to run
“render.exe -r dummy test.mb” from the command prompt, it will print out
the error: Cannot open renderer description file “dummyRenderer.xml”.
If you do have Renderman for Maya installed on that machine, then it
looks like Maya isn’t detecting it and loading the plugin when it starts
up. You may have to tweak your environment variables on the machine, or
try reinstalling Renderman for Maya. After doing so, you should restart
the slave machine so that Deadline is refreshed with the new environment
variables.
Cheers,
- Ryan
